MINIĆ: INSURANCE IMPORTANCE AWARENESS GROWING AMONG CITIZENS AND ENTREPRENEURS
BANJA LUKA, APRIL 16 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić says that the Republika Srpska Insurance Agency has been achieving increasingly better results year after year, and that paying insurance premiums is not an expense, but an investment in security is evident.
Minić says that data on the number of insured persons and paid premiums show a significant rise in awareness among both citizens and entrepreneurs about the importance of insurance, which enables them to ensure protection against various events in society and the world, as well as continuity of liquidity. "The premiums paid out to beneficiaries in Republika Srpska, in percentage terms, indicate that there is no security for more substantial and improved business operations without insurance," Minić told the press in Banja Luka ahead of the ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of the Republika Srpska Insurance Agency. Minić congratulated the Agency's management on this important jubilee, noting that the Government will continue to support both the Agency and insurance companies in their work. "Our goal is to have as wide an offer as possible and a better range of insurance options, so that users can be as secure as possible," Minić said. The Republika Srpska Insurance Agency was established by the Law on Insurance Companies in 2006 and has regulatory and supervisory functions aimed at protecting persons entitled to insurance coverage and compensation, as well as supporting the development of the insurance industry.
