STEVANDIĆ: SERBS' VOICE IN AMERICA LOUDER THAN OFFICIAL SARAJEVO’S
BANJA LUKA, APRIL 17 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić says that what Serb representatives say is now heard much more loudly in the United States than what is said by official Sarajevo, whose representatives would like to return to a time when the Serbs' voice was suppressed.
Commenting on a letter sent by the director of the Srebrenica Memorial Centre Emir Suljagić to the president of Judson University in the United States, requesting the cancellation of an award to SNSD leader Milorad Dodik, Stevandić said that Bosniak representatives are accustomed to past actions of the BiH Constitutional Court and high representatives, when Serbs had no voice and nothing they said was heard. "Now what Serb representatives say in America is heard much more loudly than what official Sarajevo says, so they would like to return to that time of stereotypes when our voice was banned," he stated. He says the truth is painful, as shown by the reactions of people who persistently advocate that they choose Serb representatives and which voice the Serbs are allowed to speak. "They no longer choose that; instead, they complain when Serbs elected by the Serb people speak louder than them and are better heard. We are glad they are complaining, and they will be complaining even more when they see what we are going to do," Stevandić told the press in Banja Luka.
