VUJIČIĆ: KONAKOVIĆ'S BANAL ATTEMPT IN ANTALYA TO IMPROVE HIS CATASTROPHIC POLITICAL POSITION IN SARAJEVO
ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, APRIL 18 /SRNA/ - SNSD member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Miroslav Vujičić, told SRNA that Foreign Minister Elmedin Konaković’s appearance at the Antalya Forum is a banal attempt to improve his catastrophic political position in Sarajevo.
Vujičić emphasized that it is symptomatic that Konaković, in every opportunity, keeps commenting on Republika Srpska and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik. "Today’s shameful statement in Antalya is one of his unsuccessful attempts to discredit everyone from Republika Srpska, but also to undiplomatically interfere in the internal affairs of Serbia,” Vujičić said. He reminded that Serbia has, many times so far, extended a hand of cooperation to BiH, but that it has never had a counterpart among Bosniaks for such cooperation. According to him, it is incomprehensible that political Sarajevo continues to persistently and without reason attack both Republika Srpska and Serbia. “Fortunately, the Serb member of the Presidency of BiH, Željka Cvijanović, had significant contacts at the diplomatic forum in Antalya yesterday, so Konaković’s open attacks on Dodik and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić will bring nothing good to Bosniaks,” Vujičić stated. Responding to a question from the audience near the end of the panel at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, Konaković once again used the opportunity to make negative remarks about Serbia and Republika Srpska, specifically about Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik. He was bothered by the fact that Dodik stood next to Vučić at a recent press conference in Belgrade.
