KOŠARAC: EXTREMELY DANGEROUS PRACTICE BY KONAKOVIĆ OF ABUSING HIS POSITION AND ACTING OUTSIDE AGREED FOREIGN POLICY

SARAJEVO, APRIL 18 /SRNA/ - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac believes it is an extremely dangerous practice that Foreign Minister Elmedin Konaković continuously abuses his position and acts outside the positions of the Presidency of BiH and the agreed foreign policy.

“Once again, we are listening to the usual loudmouth from Soukbunar making false accusations against Republika Srpska and Serbia, as well as against President Dodik and Vučić,” Košarac wrote on Instagram. According to him, this time Konaković misused the ministerial meeting in Antalya to do the only thing he knows - to lie pointlessly, make unfounded accusations, and, in the manner of a local strongman, shout from the podium in an attempt to attract attention. “Konaković’s lies, populism, hate speech, and increasingly frequent hysterical outbursts have brought and will bring nothing good to anyone. He is a destabilizing factor. His disgraceful actions do not contribute to regional stability, peace, cooperation, or good relations in the region,” Košarac said. Such actions, Košarac added, do not benefit Konaković himself, nor the political party he leads. “He is on the verge of the electoral threshold, and October is approaching. It’s not easy for him. On the one hand, he has lost the battle and shown that he cannot compete against the diplomatic successes and credible international policy of Republika Srpska. On the other hand, he is in great fear of the SDA and an inevitable defeat in the elections,” Košarac emphasized. Košarac emphasized that Konaković has nothing left but to wander around the world, trying to boost his own rating through inarticulate shouting and lies. Responding to a question from the audience near the end of the panel at the diplomatic forum in Antalya, Konaković once again used the opportunity to make negative comments about Serbia and Republika Srpska, specifically about Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik. He was bothered by the fact that Dodik stood next to Vučić at a recent press conference in Belgrade.
