BANJA LUKA, APRIL 28 /SRNA/ – Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Dmitry Starostin said that at today's meeting in Banja Luka with Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić, it was agreed that companies from this Russian region and Republika Srpska will expand and strengthen cooperation.

"Thanks to this meeting today, companies from the Nizhny Novgorod Region will consider launching production on the territory of Republika Srpska," Starostin pointed out. He added that cooperation between the Nizhny Novgorod Region and Republika Srpska will also include exchanges in education, science and technology, with an important role to be played by traditional higher education institutions, as well as the new IT university Neimark. "We believe this will lead not only to an increase in the number of students from Republika Srpska coming to our higher education institutions, but also to active cooperation between our IT companies," Starostin said. According to him, special attention will be given to strengthening the culture of remembrance, particularly regarding World War II. "It is a great honor to be here. The warm welcome places an even greater responsibility on us to fulfill what we discussed today," Starostin concluded.
