DODIK: WE DO NOT NEED 300 MILLION EUROS FROM BRUSSELS
BANJA LUKA, MAY 11 /SRNA/ - SNSD leader Milorad Dodik said that Republika Srpska doesn't need 300 million euros foreseen from the funds from the European Growth Plan, because huge political concessions are being sought that also refer to the sovereignty of Srpska.
"We have no one to talk to in the EU. What should we talk to the European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, who received several billion euros to distribute them and thinks it's something. The EU triumphantly said that BiH received one billion euros from the Growth Plan, of which 300 million belong to Srpska, and then they ask us for concessions," said Dodik at a press conference in Banja Luka. He pointed out that the mentioned funds are loans and that it shows that the EU has an alternative and that it should be rejected. "Time shows that Republika Srpska can issue 500 billion euros on the London Stock Exchange and receive an offer of 1.1 billion euros. This means that there is high interest. There are no political concessions here," said Dodik. He claims that the EU has always lied, as has the head of the EU Delegation in BiH Luigi Soreca, when it comes to BiH. "The Growth Plan was accepted with strong pressure, but it cannot be implemented until individual decisions are adopted. They will not be adopted, and let the Federation of BiH separate from Republika Srpska, and let them take one billion euros. They have the opposition from Srpska and let them enjoy together. The opposition saved BiH and did not have the character to protect Srpska. They also saved Christian Schmidt," Dodik pointed out.
