MINIĆ: DECLARE ALL SCHMIDT'S DECISIONS NULL AND VOID

BANJA LUKA, MAY 13 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić says that declaring all Christian Schmidt’s decisions null and void and returning everything to its previous state would be the only fair solution.

BANJA LUKA, MAY 13 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić says that declaring all Christian Schmidt’s decisions null and void and returning everything to its previous state would be the only fair solution.

Minić says that Schmidt's decisions represent a tool enabling certain BiH-level institutions to prosecute Serbs one by one for anything that anyone might imagine. "There are many harmful consequences caused by Schmidt’s arrival, who was not appointed in accordance with the prescribed procedures. Unfortunately, the consequences will remain," Minić told the press in Banja Luka. He recalled that Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik was prosecuted after signing a decree on a law adopted by the Srpska National Assembly. "Each time a high representative leaves, he imposes certain laws at the airport. Now there are cases in which our people are being prosecuted because someone decided they allegedly glorified certain individuals or incited national hatred," Minić said. He added that there are no such lawsuits coming from Republika Srpska, unlike in the FBiH, because the Serb people wants to live normally. "They pick out Serbs one by one and conduct persecution. In which country does someone get prosecuted for a verbal offense? You express your opinion. Why is someone who recorded himself committing war crimes and ordering killings not a war criminal? Only because the Court of BiH did not prosecute him," Minić stated. He said that Serbs received far more prison sentences from the Hague Tribunal and the Court of BiH, creating the impression that Serbs were the only ones who committed crimes. "This was a civil war, and crimes were committed on all sides. What is happening now is a consequence of imposed acts," Minić concluded.
