CVIJANOVIĆ: OUR PARTNERS ARE THOSE COMMITTED TO REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, MAY 27 /SRNA/ - SNSD Vice President Željka Cvijanović stated that the ruling structure of Republika Srpska considers as partners all those who place peace, stability and the development of Republika Srpska high on their list of priorities, along with preserving its constitutional order.

Cvijanović said SNSD is a pro-Republika Srpska party that acts in the interest of Republika Srpska. "Everyone else has the right and opportunity to associate on whatever basis they choose, and they have the right to do whatever they want, and we do not dispute that," Cvijanović said in Prnjavor in response to a question about the signing of a cooperation memorandum by pro-Bosniak parties aimed at strengthening the constitutional order and statehood. She emphasized that Republika Srpska remains the priority. "What we in SNSD suggest, and what people currently performing important functions on behalf of Republika Srpska at various levels - whether local, republic-level, or those of us sent to Sarajevo to work on behalf of Republika Srpska, is that Republika Srpska is our priority," Cvijanović stressed. She added that no one disputes BiH, but that there can be no BiH without Republika Srpska. "Likewise, we know there can be no stability unless everyone wants to contribute to it. We know there can be no internal dialogue unless we confront the burdens of the past that have been such a disruptive factor in the development of BiH and its democracy," Cvijanović stated. Who signed what is less important, Cvijanović concluded, than understanding the political objective - and that objective is Republika Srpska.
