KULIĆ: PALE, KEY SACRED LOCATION FOR DISCUSSION ON SRPSKA
PALE, JUNE 3 /SRNA/ - Together with the creation of Republika Srpska, institutions were also developed that today bring together young people, such as the University of Istočno Sarajevo, said the university rector Milan Kulić.
"Today in Pale we welcomed Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić. I believe there is no better or more sacred place to talk about Republika Srpska than Pale, because it is precisely here that Republika Srpska was created," Kulić told reporters ahead of the prime minister's lecture on the topic "Republika Srpska - Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow." Kulić added that the university is proud of this fact and said he is especially pleased that the lecture was organized by the Union of Students of Republika Srpska and the Student Parliament of the University of Istočno Sarajevo. "This speaks to the national awareness and responsibility of our students, but also of all of us working at the university," Kulić stressed. He pointed out that young people are showing interest in topics important for Republika Srpska, its past, present and future. The President of the Student Parliament of the University of Istočno Sarajevo Milan Savić said that the parliament, together with the Union of Students of Republika Srpska, has in the previous period launched several initiatives that were readily accepted by the government of Republika Srpska, expressing confidence that this cooperation will continue in the future.
