SELAK: CALLS FOR DODIK'S ELIMINATION SHOW IZETBEGOVIĆ'S DESPAIR

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 24 /SRNA/ - The President of the Socialist Party of Srpska /SPS/ Goran Selak said that Bakir Izetbegović is the most authentic representative of Bosniak politics, because whenever something does not suit him, he calls on the international factor for help.

"Pathetic appeals for the international factor to eliminate Milorad Dodik from public life are a reflection of weakness and a permanent lack of willingness on the part of Bosniak political actors to accept what Republika Srpska consistently offers - dialogue and compromise, so that all internal issues in BiH can be resolved by ourselves," Selak stated. The SPS leader stated that while Republika Srpska calls for dialogue, Izetbegović and those like him continuously engage in the denial of Republika Srpska and its elected representatives, as well as calls for lynching and violence. "This best shows who the disruptive factor is and who does not want all of us in BiH to live in stability and peace," Selak said. Selak assessed that it is also clear that Izetbegović is hoping for his old coalition partners from the opposition, with whom he signed a declaration a few days ago, again under the patronage of foreigners, according to a statement from SPS. "However, all of Izetbegović's political aspirations are nothing more than a list of unfulfilled wishes. Milorad Dodik is the president of the SNSD, the party that enjoys the highest level of trust among citizens in Republika Srpska and BiH. Dodik was and remains the expression of the people's will, and Republika Srpska currently enjoys its highest international reputation ever," Selak emphasized.
