STEVANDIĆ SUPPORTS INITIATIVE FOR DECLARATION ON PROTECTING SERB NATIONAL INTERESTS

BANJA LUKA, JULY 2 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić has endorsed an initiative by the Republika Srpska Veterans` Organization and the Association "Creators of Republika Srpska" to adopt a declaration on protecting the vital national interests of the Serb people in BiH.

Stevandić said the proposed declaration would be submitted to all parliamentary groups based in Republika Srpska for review and would be considered at the next session of the National Assembly Collegium, which will determine at which plenary session it will be debated. Stevandić discussed the declaration today in Banja Luka with representatives of the Republika Srpska Veterans` Organization and the Association, which proposed the initiative, the Republika Srpska National Assembly said in a statement.
