ROAD TO NOVI ZEJTINLIK RENOVATED AS TRIBUTE TO FALLEN SERB SOLDIERS
SOKOLAC, JULY 7 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said that the renovation of the street leading to the Serb military cemetery of Novi Zejtinlik in Sokolac represents a human and fundamental debt owed to the Serb soldiers who gave their lives for Republika Srpska, and announced that the Republika Srpska Government would support the implementation of many projects requested by citizens and local communities in this municipality and the city of Istočno Sarajevo.
Minić recalled the recently held sessions of the Government of Republika Srpska in Sokolac and Pale, noting that the project to renovate the street leading to the Serb military cemetery of Novi Zejtinlik had been agreed upon when the highest officials of Republika Srpska visited this local community for Republika Srpska Day. "What is important is that the projects we agreed on here in Sokolac, including the kindergarten, the third traffic lane and others we discussed, are now being implemented. The Government of Republika Srpska wants to act responsibly. As President Milorad Dodik often used to say – a politician is worth as much as the things he has accomplished," Minić told reporters in Sokolac. Minić said that the development of Republika Srpska would continue. "We are moving forward with the development of Republika Srpska! Tomorrow we will already be at a new location, and Republika Srpska is one large construction site. I must point out that the investment cycle exceeds seven billion, and this is something we could only have dreamed of," Minić said. He added that the effects of these efforts would only become visible in the future, and that Republika Srpska could certainly expect much better and brighter times ahead. Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić and President Milorad Dodik are visiting Sokolac, where they toured the construction site of the street leading to the Serb military cemetery of Novi Zejtinlik. The delegation also visited the Serb military cemetery and the Memorial Church.
