ČOVIĆ: WE OUTLINED OUR POLITICAL GOALS

MOSTAR, JULY 13 /SRNA/ – HDZ BiH leader Dragan Čović stated representatives of the HDZ BiH and the SNSD had clearly defined their political objectives ahead of BiH's next general elections during talks in Mostar on Sunday.

"We briefly presented what the HDZ intends to do during this period and the results it expects to achieve. We heard a similar presentation from our colleagues in the SNSD. We will continue working together," Čović said at a news conference after the meeting of the two parties' delegations. According to him, the talks also covered ways to reach agreement on the future functioning of the executive and legislative authorities. "I am pleased that all the colleagues who were here today have remained in constant communication, and we will continue in that way. There are about 80 days left until the elections, so we also have to be careful about how much we say in order not to violate any election rules," Čović says. Delegations of the HDZ BiH and the SNSD, led by party leaders Dragan Čović and Milorad Dodik, met in Mostar earlier on Sunday.
