KLOKIĆ: RENOVATING PLAYGROUNDS IS AN INVESTMENT IN FUTURE GENERATIONS

PRNJAVOR, JULY 16 /SRNA/ - Zlatan Klokić, Minister for European Integration and International Cooperation of Republika Srpska, told SRNA that the reconstruction of the sports ground near the "Ivo Andrić" Secondary School Centre in Prnjavor represents an investment in future generations, not merely the renovation of a sports facility.

Klokić said that the Republika Srpska Government had secured BAM 150,000 for the project, and that the City of Prnjavor would also contribute financially to its implementation. "I am especially pleased because this is the very sports ground where I grew up and which is associated with some of my fondest memories from childhood and my secondary school days," Klokić said. He thanked Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić for supporting the initiative, as well as Prnjavor Mayor Darko Tomaš, who launched the project together with the young men who had won the City of Prnjavor local communities' five-a-side football tournament in previous years. "I believe that this sports ground will once again become a place for gathering, sports, friendship and the upbringing of new generations of Prnjavor residents," Klokić said. The Republika Srpska Government has allocated BAM 150,000 for the reconstruction of the sports ground near the "Ivo Andrić" Secondary School Centre in Prnjavor. In accordance with the Government's decision, the funds will be transferred to the City of Prnjavor through the Ministry for European Integration and International Cooperation.
