DERVENTA, JULY 22 /SRNA/ - Serb camp survivors Momir Lazić and Dragan Kovačević from Derventa, who survived torture in the notorious Rabić camp and at the Army Hall in Derventa in 1992, will testify tomorrow before American investigator-prosecutors.

Drago Knežević, president of the Derventa Association of Former Camp Inmates, told SRNA that the planned testimony of all eight Serb camp survivors before American investigators at the Court of General Jurisdiction in Derventa is expected to be completed tomorrow. He said that Predrag Nikolić from Derventa and Nedeljko Blagojević from Gradiška testified today, while Neđo Blagojević from Derventa testified yesterday. On Monday, Doctor Željko Stajčić, Drago Knežević and Borislav Miodanić from Derventa testified before the American investigators. Knežević said that he had submitted to the American investigators and prosecutors an expert report on war crimes and genocide committed against the civilian population in the Derventa area, which was published in 2003. During the past Defensive-Patriotic War in Derventa, at a time when the Army of Republika Srpska had not yet even been formed, Croatian and Muslim forces attacked the local Serb population. Camps for Serbs were established, the most notorious of which were the one at the Army Hall and the one at the Rabić site. A total of 120 Serbs were detained in the Rabić camp, while several hundred Serb civilians passed through the camps in Derventa overall.
