GOGANOVIĆ: COOPERATION CONTRIBUTES TO STRENGTHENING PEACE AND SECURITY IN REGION
BELGRADE, JULY 25 /SRNA/ – Aleksandar Goganović, Deputy Minister of Defence in the BiH Council of Ministers, attended the ceremonial commissioning of the newest officers of the Serbian Armed Forces in Belgrade today, emphasizing that an event such as this, which also included cadets of the Armed Forces of BiH, sends a message of strong cooperation.
Noting that two cadets of the Armed Forces of BiH successfully graduated from the Military Academy in Belgrade and two from the Military Medical Academy, Goganović said today's commissioning demonstrates the excellent cooperation between the Ministry of Defence within the BiH Council of Ministers and the Armed Forces of BiH, as well as the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia. "Yesterday I met with the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Mojsilović, where I reaffirmed our commitment to continue this cooperation because it contributes to strengthening peace and security in the Western Balkans, since a peaceful and stable Balkans contributes to the security of all of Europe," Goganović told media outlets from Republika Srpska. Goganović called on citizens of Republika Srpska, as well as the rest of BiH, to apply for the new admission cycle at the Military Academy and the Faculty of Medicine of the Military Medical Academy. Today, 130 cadets were commissioned as officers: 102 graduates of the 147th class of the Military Academy and 28 graduates of the 12th class of the Faculty of Medicine of the Military Medical Academy. This year, two cadets from the Armed Forces of BiH graduated from the Military Academy, and two graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Military Medical Academy.
