DODIK: INVESTMENT IN PALE WILL CONTINUE
PALE, JULY 28 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik pointed out that investment in projects in Pale will continue and that the institutions will do everything to make this place even better.
Dodik, who attended the official opening of a roundabout worth BAM 997,000 in Pale, emphasized the importance of this project for this local community. "Earlier, in agreement with the City Administration, we ensured that a portion of the funds collected in these areas remains here for investments. That is now serious money amounting to four million annually, and that is why the city can appear in these places, and be the initiator and driver of such activities," Dodik told reporters. He pointed out that this is not the only thing that has been done in Pale, indicating that institutions are continuously present here - from the construction of the Faculty of Economics and Law, to student dormitories. "We also helped build the central temple, as well as the school for which we engaged funds from the Government of Serbia, which was built there, completely new, with a new sports hall. We will continue to build and do everything to make Pale even better and more orderly," Dodik noted. Dodik also said that last week it was agreed that the BAM one million planned for the Government of Srpska to invest here in support of projects will be increased to more than BAM two million. "And this will begin to be realized in the next ten days or so," Dodik announced. He also stated that the investment cycle in Republika Srpska of BAM seven billion secured for the coming years includes the construction of highways, roundabouts, hospitals, health centers, sports halls, and primary energy facilities important for the future of both the residents and the economy. Two-thirds of the funds for the construction of the roundabout were provided by the City of Istočno Sarajevo, while the remaining amount was allocated by the Government of Republika Srpska.
