GRANNAS IS IN SARAJEVO TO REPRESENT GERMANY, NOT TO RUN BiH

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 6 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik sent a message to German Ambassador Alfred Grannas that his job in Sarajevo is to represent Germany, not to run BiH, and that he should stick to that role and stop misleading the public.

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 6 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik sent a message to German Ambassador Alfred Grannas that his job in Sarajevo is to represent Germany, not to run BiH, and that he should stick to that role and stop misleading the public.

Dodik said that the Peace Implementation Council /PIC/ is a made-up body with no authority over the selection, appointment, or confirmation of the High Representative, who is chosen by the signatories to the Dayton Peace Agreement and confirmed by the UN Security Council. "That is what Annex 10 of the Dayton Peace Agreement says. What is so difficult to understand about that, Mr Ambassador?" Dodik asked. He said that Ambassador Grannas either cannot read or is deliberately lying. "The fact that you and certain other ambassadors took advantage of a particular set of circumstances and assumed the right to do what is not your job is a thing of the past. You came to Sarajevo to represent Germany, not to run BiH. Stick to that and stop misleading the public and telling lies," Dodik wrote on X.
