MINIĆ: NEW INVESTMENT TO BOOST NEVESINJE’S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
NEVESINJE, AUGUST 16 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić stressed that Nevesinje was opening a new chapter in its economic development, noting that the company "iFORM" plans to open a production facility in the municipality to manufacture metal components for the automotive industry, with an initial investment of around one million euros.
He added that the facility would initially employ 50 people, with plans to increase that number to 100. “This is a serious investment, not a pilot project. 'iFORM' already operates at four locations, in BiH, Slovenia, Germany and China, and Nevesinje will be its fifth production location,” Minić wrote on the social media platform X. According to him, the initial investment is expected to amount to around one million euros, with the possibility of the total investment reaching between 2.5 million and three million euros. The production facility, covering around 1,500 square meters, will be expanded to approximately 5,000 square meters and equipped with modern machinery and robotic systems, he said. “Investments like this mean new jobs, a stronger local economy and increased exports and, most importantly for us, creating conditions for young people to stay and build their future in Nevesinje. The Republika Srpska Government and Nevesinje municipality will provide strong support for the implementation of this project,” Minić pointed out, as he visited the municipality today.
