CVIJANOVIĆ: COMPLETION OF SRBAC–DERVENTA ROAD WILL CONTRIBUTE TO LOCAL RESIDENTS’ QUALITY OF LIFE

SRBAC, SEPTEMBER 2 /SRNA/ – Serb BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović has said today in Srbac that the completion of works on approximately 40 kilometers of the Srbac-Derventa main road would significantly contribute to the quality of life of residents in the area and to the further development of local communities.

“I believe that we have fulfilled our mission here, but we will continue to work and build Republika Srpska and remain fully committed to working for it,” Cvijanović said at the ceremony marking the completion of the works. She said that the completion of the Srbac–Derventa main road was evidence of Republika Srpska institutions’ ability to implement major infrastructure projects and work in the interests of citizens “This major undertaking demonstrates and proves our ability, as Republika Srpska, to work, build and do what is good for our residents,” Cvijanović said. She stressed that Republika Srpska has a clear vision for the future, one that envisages developed municipalities and local communities, emphasizing that efforts toward their development would continue. “It is important for us to remain masters in our own home, which is why we are making great efforts to develop our local communities,” Cvijanović said. She particularly emphasized the importance of the fact that the works were completed ahead of schedule, saying that this demonstrated the ability of Republika Srpska institutions to successfully implement major projects. “Having the ability is not enough if you do not have a vision. The team of people headed by President Milorad Dodik has always demonstrated that it has both the vision and the ability to implement, as well as a sense of the needs of our people,” Cvijanović stressed.
