MINIĆ: FIND OUT MOTIVE AND PUNISH ATTACKERS

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 2 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić, commenting on the attack on two Serbs in Vogošća, called on the FBiH to protect Serb returnees and ensure that they can live peacefully and safely in their ancestral homes.

Minić said he was deeply shaken by the news of the brutal attack on a 92-year-old Serb returnee in Vogošća and the shooting at his son. “The authorities must find out the motive, find those responsible and punish them,” Minić postrd on the social network X. A family member of the attacked Serbs said that A.Š. /92/ was attacked during the night between August 25 and 26 and brutally beaten, and later suffered a stroke. According to her, his son B.Š. /68/ was also in the house at the time but initially heard nothing. When he woke up and saw what was happening, he chased after the burglars, who fired at him at that moment, but he was not hit.
