NATO AND EU LOBBYIST CALLS FOR SUPPORT FOR STANIVUKOVIĆ

VIENNA, SEPTEMBER 16 /SRNA/ - Austrian economist and NATO and EU lobbyist Günther Fehlinger has called for support for Draško Stanivuković in the general elections in BiH in October.

He called for what he described as a "federal Bosnia" to join NATO and the EU, as well as the eurozone and the Schengen Area. "I support the Mayor of Banja Luka to win the elections. `Yes` to Draško Stanivuković," Günther wrote on X. Fehlinger has previously publicly supported SDS leader Branko Blanuša and PSS leader Draško Stanivuković, as well as the idea of abolishing Republika Srpska. In 2025, Fehlinger supported Blanuša, saying that if he won the early election for President of Republika Srpska, "BiH can finally move forward". In the 2024 local elections, Fehlinger expressed support for Stanivuković as mayor of Banja Luka, saying that "he is the future of the political scene in BiH".
