SERBIAN REFEREE TO OFFICIATE AT U-17 WORLD CUP
BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 22 /SRNA/ - Serbian referee Miloš Milanović will officiate matches at the FIFA U-17 World Cup, which will be held in Qatar from November 19 to December 13, the Football Association of Serbia announced today.
The Football Association said this was another major recognition for Serbian referees and confirmation of the growing trust that referees from Serbia enjoy on the international stage. They added that Milanović will travel to Qatar with assistant referees Milan Pašajlić and Nikola Đorović. They stressed that the significance of the appointment is even greater given that FIFA has selected a total of 27 referees for the World Cup, only seven of whom are from Europe.
