KARAN VISITS SERBIAN HOUSE ON CORFU
CORFU, SEPTEMBER 23 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Siniša Karan visited the Serbian House on Corfu today, a guardian of Serbian history and a monument to the immeasurable sacrifice and courage of the Serbian people in the First World War.
In a gesture underscoring the deep ties between Republika Srpska and the Serbian House, Karan presented the museum curator with the St Stephen's Plaque. “It is always an emotional and proud moment to stand at a place where the memory of our ancestors’ ordeal is preserved, where history falls silent, and pride and gratitude say it all. At this place, we are reminded of who we are and how much our freedom has cost us,”, Karan wrote on X. He thanked the brotherly Greek people, who stood by the Serbs during the most difficult moments in history.
