TRAVEL FILM ABOUT BANJA LUKA AWARDED IN JAPAN

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 19 /SRNA/ - The film about Banja Luka "Postcard from Irresistible" won the prestigious award for tourism product at the Japan World’s Tourism Film Festival competing with 1,036 submitted films for the international category.

The awards ceremony was held in the Ikoro Theater on the Akano Ainu Kotan lake on the Japanese island of Hokkaido between March 15 and 17, the Banja Luka Tourism Organisation announced. The film "Postcard from Irresistible" will tour nine world tourist film festivals within the International Film Festival Association. The tourist postcard of the city on the Vrbas River will be shown in New York, Los Angeles, Spain, Austria, Serbia, Croatia, France and Greece. This film won the award for the best urban destination at the Art&Tour Festival in Portugal. The travel promotional film "Postcard from Irresistible" is the result of cooperation between the Tourism Organisation and the Agriculture and Villages Development Centre from Banja Luka.
