SCHMIDT IS SECURITY ISSUE IN BiH

PRIJEDOR, MARCH 19 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Minister of Interior Siniša Karan says that Christian Schmidt is not a guardian of the Dayton Peace Agreement, but a security problem in BiH.

Reacting to Schmidt's statements that the removal of international judges of the Constitutional Court of BiH violates the Constitution and the principle of jurisdiction independence and that he is the guardian of the Dayton Peace Agreement, Karan emphasized that Schmidt is nobody and nothing. "I have been repeating it since the first day. He is really nobody and nothing and that nobody and nothing teaches us lessons. We have been dealing with that unfortunate Constitutional Court of BiH for 30 years, which is a synonym of a non-sovereign country. He is a synonym of a protectorate. He is a synonym of everything that is not constitutionality and legality. He is a synonym for injustice. He is a disaster who talks about protecting the Constitutional Court," Karan told the press in Prijedor. He added that it is an understatement to say that Schmidt is a tourist. "We named him a great word, he is a travesty in BiH and he is bringing unrest to BiH. As the Minister of Interior, I say that Christian Schmidt is a security issue in BiH, therefore it would be better for him to remain silent," Karan said.
