CVIJANOVIĆ: UNELECTED FOREIGNER RETURNS BiH THREE STEPS BACK WITH INTENT OF CAUSING CHAOS

EAST SARAJEVO, MARCH 26 /SRNA/ - The Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović told SRNA that Christian Schmidt is not the high representative, and even if he was, he would not have the right to impose decisions and change laws.

EAST SARAJEVO, MARCH 26 /SRNA/ - The Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović told SRNA that Christian Schmidt is not the high representative, and even if he was, he would not have the right to impose decisions and change laws.

"Whenever representatives of the nations in BiH take a step forward, Schmidt takes us three steps back. This is a slap in the face for the democratic process and the European path of BiH, and a huge slap in the face for the EU," Cvijanović told SRNA when asked to comment on Schmidt's imposition of changes to the BiH Election Law. She emphasized that it is obvious that Schmidt, with his mentors and people on whose orders he acts, is consciously undermining the EU's credibility in BiH with dictatorial decisions. Cvijanović said it is unheard of for an unelected foreigner to impose decisions on any member of the UN, especially a country that is about to start negotiations with the EU. "This will result in an additional complication of the political situation in BiH, which was obviously Schmidt's idea. The intention is to cause chaos and show that the two sides are not BiH and the EU," Cvijanović said. She has said that it is known that BiH has no credibility because foreign power brokers destroyed it in the last decades by keeping BiH in the status of a colony. "But those who puppeteer Schmidt want to show that the EU is also their colony and, unfortunately, they succeeded in that, not by pinching and pushing it in the side or the back, but with a fist to the forehead. So much for euphoria and negotiation status," said Cviijanović.
