SERBIA HUMILIATES SPONSORS OF "TRICK" RESOLUTION ON SREBRENICA
BANJA LUKA, MAY 15 /SRNA/ - Speaker of the Republika Srpska National Assembly Nenad Stevandić told SRNA that the repeated postponement of the vote on the Srebrenica resolution in the United Nations General Assembly is proof that the small Serbia, led by President Aleksandar Vučić, has humiliated its sponsors, and that the Serbian people have shown historical unity.
"This is a historical example of how a small country with an excellent president has humiliated the sponsors of the Srebrenica resolution, who have twice postponed the vote on it to avoid showing the world the embarrassment of pressuring only 50 countries they otherwise control through NATO, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank," Stevandić said. According to him, even those countries are not under complete control and /the sponsors/ must embarrass themselves by pressuring all other countries and blackmailing them to push through this "trick" resolution. Stevandić emphasized that it is incredible that the vote in the United Nations General Assembly has been postponed twice, which only speaks to the current reputation of President Vučić and Serbia and the magnitude of the unity of the Serbian people. "We have never been more united, including Serbs from the former Republic of Serbian Krajina, Kosovo and Metohija, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Republika Srpska. This is a historical example that can be a source of pride for all Serbian leaders, especially Vučić, who represents our joint positions. It is a historical example of great unity of the Serbian people, regardless of where they live and what documents they hold," Stevandić emphasized. He emphasized that all countries of the global South, a large part of Asian countries, and more than two-thirds of the world support Serbia, which has not been recorded even after the First World War when the League of Nations existed or after the Second World War when the United Nations was formed. A session of the United Nations General Assembly, during which the proposal for the resolution on Srebrenica is expected to be considered, will be held on Thursday, May 23, as announced on the United Nations General Assembly website. The vote on the resolution has been postponed several times.
