DODIK: WE WILL NEVER ACCEPT DECISION REVOKING SNJEŽANA NOVAKOVIĆ BURSAĆ'S OFFICE

EAST SARAJEVO, JULY 15 /SRNA/ - SNSD leader Milorad Dodik has said today that the Central Election Commission /CEC/BiH’s decision of the to entrust the office of Snježana Novaković Bursać in the House of Peoples to the Parliamentary Assembly to Nenad Vuković will not be accepted and all legal options against that decision will be used.

Dodik reminded that SNSD authorities, of which he is the leader, said that they would use all legal possibilities in this regard, not waiting for something to happen, but to show how absurd this system is. "From a political point of view, we will not come to terms with that decision," pointed out Dodik. If it were necessary, Dodik says the CEC should have resumed the election of one deputy to the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, to the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, which would have transferred the responsibility to the National Assembly. "They have no brain, they want to disparage the entire Republika Srpska and the entire system of deputies who elected it. We'll see how things will unfold, not to prejudge, but many will feel it," emphasized Dodik. He reminded that primarily deputies to the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly are elected by the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, not the CEC. "But we still have strong mentors and patrons from abroad, so it seems to them that they can do everything," Dodik said, stating that in addition to the illegal and illegitimately elected CEC, the Court of BiH is involved in all this. According to him, oiw come no one in the CEC wondered who of them made a mistake and how they gave the office to Snježana Novaković Bursać two years ago. "Is it legal what was passed by the House of Peoples while Novaković Burasać was voting? Will they ever resolve the matter to the end, will they say we messed up, we should bear responsibility for the mess we created," asked Dodik. He is convinced that this will never happen because the CEC believes it is the best once it carries out what the American or other ambassador tells them to do, instead of abiding by to the law and the Constitution of BiH. Stating that it is impossible to replace an elected representative in the Parliamentary Assembly, Dodik concluded that it is now clear that this is also possible. The CEC of BiH made a decision today on amending the decision on confirming the results of the intermediate elections and awarding the office for the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH from Republika Srpska, which amended the decision of the Commission from January 16, 2023, i.e. replacing Snježana Novaković Bursać with Nenad Vuković.
