GERMANY HAS PROVEN SEVERAL TIMES THAT IT IS NOT BENEVOLENT TO THE SERBS

EAST SARAJEVO, AUGUST 12 /SRNA/ - SNSD MP in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Miroslav Vujičić, tells SRNA that Germany has repeatedly proven that it is not benevolent towards Serbs and that it does not understand the situation in BiH and the Balkans.

"I don't know if the reason is the historical fact that the Serbs, for the most part, were on the side of the anti-fascists in both the First and Second World War, because we see that those who were siding with the Germans are still their allies today," said Vujičić, reacting to the offensive statements by the Bundestag member, Mihael Brand, at the expense of the leadership of Republika Srpska, Serbia and Russia. He pointed out that, unfortunately, some things in politics do not change and probably the Germans did not forgive the Serbs for being on the right side both times, unlike them who created enormous crimes in Europe and the world. Vujičić stated that Brand, accusing Serbs and politicians from Republika Srpska, above all President Milorad Dodik, of undermining the Dayton Peace Agreement, proved that Germany, through its activities through a certain number of deputies, does not understand the situation in BiH and the Balkans at all. According to him, they obviously have complexes and feel responsible for the genocide they carried out in the Second World War, which killed a large number of Serbs, so they try to equate the suffering in Srebrenica with what the Germans personally caused and carried out in the Second World War. "We have not forgotten the German crimes that they committed against the Serbs in the territory of the former Yugoslavia and that they created through their banana republics such as the Independent State of Croatia," said Vujičić. Vujičić pointed out that now people whose ancestors committed crimes are accusing Republika Srpska, President Dodik and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić of violating the Dayton Peace Agreement in the most egregious way and comparing them to some German politicians who are responsible for the great suffering of Serbs. Vujičić pointed out that unlike his much more famous William Brandt, who had the strength to bow down to the victims of the Holocaust, for which German politics is most responsible, Mihael Brand has not even close attitude as such. In an interview with Sarajevo-based Oslobođenje newspapers, Brand made a series of insults and malicious comments against Republika Srpska, its institutions and the president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik himself. He said that the Dayton Peace Agreement was an "unjust agreement that rewarded war crimes", which "violates basic European and Western values", and called on Germany, the EU, NATO, OHR and others to "stand up for the people and be against the bad guys" in BiH.
