SRPSKA IS SERBIA'S MOST IMPORTANT FOREIGN POLICY PRIORITY

BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 21 /SRNA/ - Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin stated in Banja Luka that Republika Srpska is Serbia's most important foreign policy priority and that the Srpska Government can always count on the full support of the Government of Serbia.

Vulin pointed out that the preservation, success, security and development of Republika Srpska are equally important to the Government of Serbia as Serbia. He pointed out that the Declaration signed at Pan-Serbian Parliament is a historical document because never before in the history of the Serb people, the two highest elected legitimate bodies - two assemblies - passed a single political declaration. "The Declaration binds our governments, binds Republika Srpska and Serbia as well. All attacks on the Declaration proved to be only a malicious interpretation of what we said and wrote. We said that the Serbs will take care of the Serbs and that the Serbs will have a common future because they are one. Srpska and Serbia are factors of peace, stability and security," Vulin said at the press conference after the meeting with the President of Srpska Milorad Dodik. He stated that the presidents of Republika Srpska and Serbia, Milorad Dodik and Aleksandar Vučić, raised relations between Srpska and Serbia to the highest level in history. "We have never cooperated better in all fields, and it is not just a declarative cooperation of brotherly people, it is a cooperation that can be seen in the lives of the Srpska and Serbia residents. There is not a single municipality in Republika Srpska, not even in the Federation of BiH, where the Serb people is majority, where at least some project has not been done, where something that improves the lives of citizens has not been done," Vulin pointed out. Vulin congratulated the citizens of Republika Srpska on the Victory Day and the entry of the Serbian army into Banja Luka, stating it is the day when the ancient dream of the ancestors about the common life of Serbs in one state came true. "I want to remind you that we brought two internationally recognised, sovereign and free Serb states into Yugoslavia," Vulin said. He stated that the mistake of the Serb ancestors, who believed that they were bringing freedom to others and that they were sharing the Serbian dream, cost the Serbs 100 years of lives. "There wouldn't have been civil wars, there wouldn't have been all that happened to us in two world wars, if our ancestors knew what they brought in and what was theirs. Gratitude for the freedom we brought to all the peoples of the former Yugoslavia was seen in Jasenovac, in Prebilovci. Gratitude for the freedom we brought them, which we believed we shared together, was seen in the civil wars, during the Operation Storm, in Bratunac, in Kazan," said Vulin. He pointed out that the Serbs must not repeat such a mistake and that they must take care of their compatriots. "Serbs must never stop taking care of Serbs," said Vulin.
