PIERA: RIGHTS VIOLATION AGAINST SRPSKA ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE
BANJA LUKA, MARCH 22 /SRNA/ - Member of the European Parliament, Pascale Piera, has said today in Banja Luka that the ongoing violation of rights against Republika Srpska is absolutely unacceptable and that she will do everything to make the truth come to light.
After the meeting with the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, she said at the press conference that the situation is really difficult and unpleasant and that the leadership of Srpska is trying to find a solution. "I found out what Republika Srpska had to endure for 30 years after the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement, which is absolutely contrary to international law," stated Piera. According to her, basic European law gives every people the opportunity to fight for themselves and determine its future, respecting the law and the constitution. "I believe that this ongoing violation of rights in Republika Srpska done by the other party is absolutely unacceptable. That's why we came to express our support to the president and to show that we support him on that path and in everything he does," said Piera. She emphasized that together with her colleagues, she will do everything to show the truth and help the president of Srpska on that path. Republika Srpska President, Milorad Dodik, and National Assembly Speaker, Nenad Stevandić, held talks today with the members of the European Parliament from France, Pascal Piera and Thierry Mariani.
