LJUBOJEVIĆ: KONAKOVIĆ PUBLICLY ADMITTED THAT BOSNIAK POLITICIANS ARE WORKING AGAINST DAYTON-BASED BiH

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 4 /SRNA/ - Anja Ljubojević, the Republika Srpska National Assembly Deputy Speaker, told SRNA that Elmedin Konaković, the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers, confirms with every move that he is working against the Dayton-based BiH, as all his actions are aimed against Republika Srpska and its leadership, which are equal partners in accordance with the Dayton Peace Agreement.

Ljubojević has pointed out that such approach, which has become standard practice among Bosniak political representatives, prevents the normal functioning of BiH, with the goal of creating a unitary, Muslim-dominated state in which Serbs and Croats - two constitutionally equal peoples - would be marginalized. She has emphasized that it is shameful and damaging for a country, especially for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for a minister to hold a press conference meant to present the work performance results, citing the imposition of sanctions on Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik as the greatest achievement. "This alone shows how disconnected Konaković is from reality and how much he operates under fear, especially following the Sky application scandal. But what stands out even more is his statement that their core political stance is that Bosniaks can elect representatives of their choosing - including Serbs, Croats, and others - and that now they're not even trying to hide it. With that, he has confirmed what we've been saying all along - that it was a lie when they told Croats the practice of electing the Croat BiH Presidency member with Bosniak votes must stop. His statement is a direct message to both Croats and Serbs, an extremely dangerous one, as it strikes at the core of the Dayton-based BiH - namely, the principle of the constituent peoples and their guaranteed rights," Ljubojević stressed. She says the "OHR-style" attempt to engineer a new coalition at the BiH level has failed from the start, as nothing can be solved through imposition or anti-democratic means, but the intentions and plans of all participants in yesterday's meeting have been exposed - they continue to pursue policies that have brought crisis to BiH. "The OHR has once again proven that it is not part of the solution, but the root of all problems, and that encouraging Bosniaks with theory of a unitary BiH could lead to far worse scenarios -ones that would ultimately bring about the collapse and disappearance of BiH itself, because neither Serbs nor Croats are foolish enough to let anyone take away the Dayton-guaranteed rights and simply hand over BiH to the Bosniaks on a silver platter," Ljubojević concluded.
