ĐAJIĆ INTERROGATED AFTER RELEASE OF DISPUTED VIDEO FOOTAGE
BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 19 /SRNA/ – Police today questioned Vlado Đajić in connection with the controversial video posted on social media, showing actions that may potentially indicate the commission of a criminal offense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs /MOI/ of Republika Srpska announced.
"Officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska are undertaking all legally prescribed measures and actions to determine the facts and circumstances related to the disputed video," the statement said. The Special Department for Combating Corruption, Organized and Serious Economic Crime of the Republika Srpska Public Prosecutor’s Office has been notified of the matter and will supervise further actions. The Government of Republika Srpska today dismissed Đajić from his position as General Director of the University Clinical Centre. SNSD President Milorad Dodik previously removed Đajić from the post of president of the SNSD City Board in Banja Luka due to damage to the party’s reputation. The video that surfaced shows Đajić speaking with a man and being present during a situation involving narcotics. Commenting on the footage that appeared this morning, Đajić told reporters that it was a classic set-up.
