FBiH REPRESENTATIVE AGAIN BLOCKS OPENING OF GRADIŠKA BORDER CROSSING

SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 4 /SRNA/ – The Management Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority /ITA/ of BiH failed to adopt the decision on amending the Rulebook on the Internal Organization of the ITA, thereby preventing the opening of the Gradiška border crossing, ITA Director Zoran Tegeltija told SRNA.

SRNA has learned unofficially that the vote against adoption came from the Board member appointed by the Government of the Federation of BiH Zijad Krnjić, who requested that the same item be discussed at the next session. Yesterday, he also voted against the redistribution of ITA employees, calling into question the commissioning of the newly built, fully functional and logistically equipped Gradiška border crossing. The Ministry of Security in the Council of Ministers previously told SRNA that the opening of the new Gradiška border crossing is expected on December 11.
