BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 8 /SRNA/ – The Police Orchestra of the Ministry of Internal Affairs /MoI/ of Republika Srpska performed today at the Banski Dvor Cultural Center in Banja Luka, playing musical pieces adapted for elementary school students from first to fourth grade.

Jelena Atlagić, head of the Police Orchestra, said it is a great pleasure to perform for the youngest audiences, as children always express genuine emotion. "This is the second year that we are organizing concerts for the youngest, and it has proven to be a complete success. The children are always thrilled and eager to participate, so this is a unique opportunity to spark their love for classical music," Atlagić said. She noted that the repertoire was adapted to the age of the students, and the orchestra performed pieces from Disney animated films, as well as other well-known children's compositions. "The concert also had an educational aspect, as we introduced them to our work. The children had the opportunity to hear national anthems and to learn that applause does not follow the performance of an anthem," Atlagić stated. In the coming days, the Police Orchestra will also perform for elementary school students in Gradiška, Mrkonjić Grad, and Doboj.
