"HERZEGOVINA HOUSE" AND "KRAJINA HOUSE" OPENED IN VIENNA

VIENNA, DECEMBER 11 /SRNA/ – The "House of Republika Srpska" – a shop offering Herzegovinian and Krajina products – was formally opened this evening in Vienna.

Mladen Filipović, Head of the Republika Srpska Representative Office in Austria, said the idea was conceived during the Serbia–Austria Economic Forum, with the support of the Representative Office. "We are proud to have opened the `House of Republika Srpska` in Vienna this evening. This is another important step in making Srpska more visible in Austria. We believe the citizens of Vienna will be interested, especially our diaspora, which is present here in large numbers," Filipović emphasized. He said that residents of Vienna will now have the opportunity to try products from the "Herzegovina House" and the "Krajina House," and that the shop is expected to feature additional domestic products in the future. The opening was attended by a delegation from the City of Trebinje led by Mayor Mirko Ćurić, Head of the Cabinet of the Minister for European Integration and International Cooperation of Republika Srpska Goran Vučić, Mayor of the Municipality of Mrkonjić Grad Dragan Vođević, and Director of the Banja Luka Center for Agricultural and Rural Development Draško Ilić. Numerous representatives of the Serbian community, as well as political and public figures from Vienna, were also present, including legendary footballer and former Serbia national team player Mladen Krstajić, the Representative Office of Republika Srpska in Austria said in a statement.
