BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 12 /SRNA/ - The SNSD Caucus in the Republika Srpska National Assembly filed a petition with the BiH Constitutional Court for constitutional review of some provisions of the BiH Criminal Code imposed by Christian Schmidt, said the Head of the Caucus, Srđan Mazalica.

Mazalica pointed out that according to provisions of the BiH Criminal Code, the failure to comply with decisions of "the High Representative" led to the verdict against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik. "Through this petition, we will attempt, using clear legal arguments, to prompt the BiH Constitutional Court to remove the provisions establishing that failure to comply with the decisions of the ‘High Representative’ can constitute a legal norm in BiH," Mazalica said at a press conference in Banja Luka. He clarified that the SNSD Caucus is requesting a constitutional review of Article 203 of the BiH Criminal Code as well as Article 4 of the Law on Amendments and Supplements to the BiH Criminal Code.
