MINIĆ: TOTAL REVENUES PLANNED FOR NEXT YEAR AT BAM 8.627 BILLION

BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 16 /SRNA/ – Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić stated that total revenues planned for 2026 amount to BAM 8.6 billion, which is BAM 319.7 million or 3.8 percent more compared to total revenues in the revised 2025 budget.

Minić pointed out that in the 2026–2028 period the projected share of total revenues in GDP ranges from 43.2 to 40.3 percent, while the share of expenditures in GDP is declining at a faster pace, from 46.1 to 42.4 percent. "Accordingly, the budget deficit is gradually reduced from 2.9 percent of GDP in 2026 to 2.8 percent of GDP in 2027 and 2.1 percent of GDP in 2028," Minić said while explaining, under an urgent procedure, the Draft Economic Reform Program of Republika Srpska for the 2026–2028 period in the National Assembly of Srpska. He added that a significant increase is planned in indirect tax revenues, amounting to BAM 3.2 billion, which is BAM 120.6 million or 3.8 percent higher compared to the 2025 budget. "The estimate of indirect tax revenues for 2026 is based on projections of key macroeconomic indicators for 2026, the assessment of external debt developments, the adopted amounts allocated to the budget of the joint institutions of BiH, and trends in the collection of indirect tax revenues," Minić explained. Personal income tax revenues are planned at BAM 553.5 million for 2026, representing an increase of BAM 22.2 million, or 4.2 percent, compared to the funds planned in the 2025 budget. Contribution revenues are planned at BAM 3.1 billion, which is BAM 156.3 million, or 5.2 percent, higher than in 2025. "Other revenues are planned at BAM 789.3 million, which is BAM 7.6 million, or one percent, more compared to 2025. The projection of these revenues is also aligned with previous collection trends and expected economic developments," Minić emphasized.
