MINIĆ: INSTITUTIONAL RESPONSE TO ALL WHO WANT TO PROVOKE CRISIS

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 15 /SRNA/ - Srpska is providing an institutional response to all those who are provoking a crisis and seeking to create uncertainty.

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 15 /SRNA/ - Srpska is providing an institutional response to all those who are provoking a crisis and seeking to create uncertainty.

"What we are doing now is part of a political process that has been agreed upon with holders of key positions in Republika Srpska. I will be proposed as prime minister-designate, but procedures must be respected. We are giving an institutional response to the existing challenges," Minić said at a press conference, after announcing that he had submitted his resignation and would receive a new mandate. He says that everything will be completed very quickly, and that this demonstrates not only political responsibility but also stability. "There is no government or parliament capable of carrying out such a maneuver," Minić said. He emphasized that the Central Election Commission of BiH is doing something unprecedented, namely, repeating elections for the president of Republika Srpska in places where there were no objections from election committees and where the SNSD achieved strong results. "Now, new election committees will be formed, and everything is being done to provoke a political crisis. The same applies to the Constitutional Court of BiH, in which there are no Serbs, and which until now has not ruled on the election of a government, yet has taken it upon itself to discuss this matter," Minić said.
