MINIĆ AND EGIĆ HAND OVER KEYS TO 15 APARTMENTS TO FAMILIES OF FALLEN SOLDIERS AND WAR DISABLED
BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 16 /SRNA/ – Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić and Minister of Labour and Veterans' and Disabled Protection Danijel Egić today handed over the keys to 15 apartments to families of fallen soldiers and war disabled veterans in the Ada neighbourhood of Banja Luka.
Keys were presented to 14 families of fallen soldiers and one war disabled veteran. Addressing those present, Minić said that the Government would strive in the coming period to complete the housing project for families of fallen soldiers and war disabled veterans. "You do not represent a social category to us; it is the obligation of Republika Srpska to repay, in this way, its debt to the members of your families who gave their lives or parts of their bodies for Srpska," Minić emphasized. Egić said he was pleased that members of the families of fallen soldiers and war disabled veterans had lived to receive the keys to their new apartments. He stated that the line ministry had done everything to ensure that such projects no longer face delays, noting that certain procedures for the construction of housing units had been simplified. City Manager Mirna Savić-Banjac said that the City of Banja Luka would provide the necessary infrastructure so that the remaining families of fallen soldiers and war disabled veterans could also have their housing issues resolved in Banja Luka. The event was attended by the president of the Republic-level organization and the president of the Banja Luka city organization of families of fallen soldiers and war disabled veterans, Isidora Graorac and Bojan Keleman.
