RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR: RUSSIA CONTINUES TO STAND AS A FRIEND OF REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

JERUSALEM, JANUARY 28 /SRNA/ – Russia’s Ambassador to Israel Anatoly Viktorov has stated today that he is grateful to SNSD leader Milorad Dodik for taking the time to meet with him.

Viktorov said they discussed a wide range of issues, with a focus on the friendly relations between Russia and Republika Srpska. "I am grateful to Dodik for finding the time to meet with me. We discussed many issues, primarily the strategic and friendly relations between Republika Srpska and Russia, and between the Serbian and Russian peoples," Viktorov emphasized. He added that he reaffirmed Russia's support for the spirit and letter of the Dayton Agreement, RTRS reported. "We also discussed the situation in the Middle East and found that we share similar views," Viktorov said. The Republika Srpska delegation currently staying in Jerusalem met today with Russia's Ambassador to Israel, Anatoly Viktorov. The delegation includes the Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trišić Babić, SNSD leader Milorad Dodik, and the Serb delegate to the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Radovan Kovačević.
