HUNGARIAN BUSINESSPEOPLE INTERESTED IN INVESTING IN REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJALUKA, April 30 (SRNA) – The Investment and Development Bank (IDB) of Republika Srpska, in cooperation with the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA), organized an Investment Forum in Budapest where Hungarian businesspeople expressed strong interest in investing in Republika Srpska, particularly due to its favorable tax policies.
According to a statement from the IDB, Hungarian business representatives acknowledged that Republika Srpska is among the most attractive regions for investment when it comes to tax incentives. "The forum included presentations of key government projects, as well as projects within business zones in local communities. Special emphasis was placed on domestic companies interested in selling or establishing strategic partnerships with Hungarian firms. The focus was on the energy sector, transport infrastructure, manufacturing industry, and tourism," the IDB stated. The release also emphasized that Hungarian companies have shown clear interest in the Republika Srpska market, and the IDB took a step further by discussing potential cooperation during a meeting between its delegation and HEPA Director Gábor Jenei. HEPA expressed full readiness to explore the market in Srpska and to promote it among Hungarian entrepreneurs in order to foster economic cooperation between Serbian and Hungarian business communities.
