CVIJANOVIĆ RESPONDS TO FORTO: THE IRONY OF THE BiH POLITICAL SCENE IS THAT MINOR POLITICAL PLAYERS WANT TO ELIMINATE POLITICAL GIANTS

BANJA LUKA, JULY 22 /SRNA/ - The irony of the political scene in BiH lies in the fact that minor political players seek to eliminate political giants, and to make matters even more lamentable, this is being done by representatives of one people targeting political representatives of another, SNSD Vice President Željka Cvijanović told SRNA.
“Voters are the ones who decide who will make decisions in Republika Srpska. As for the current Bosniak political structure and its role in the BiH authorities, it has been influenced more by external factors than by the voters themselves,” Cvijanović said. When asked to comment on a statement by the president of Our Party, Edin Forto, who said that ways are sought to eliminate the SNSD from the political life, so that they would not make decisions on BiH in the coming period, particularly after the upcoming elections, Cvijanović said that their constant demands that along with them and their miniscule election result, decisions on this state are made by those who were not elected at all but were imposed to impersonate some international supervision, and who did everything for this country to fail, fit well into the contaminated Sarajevo version of BiH. “They don’t even try to hide it anymore, as they have publicly stated on multiple occasions that they expect even the judiciary to fulfill their political wishes,” Cvijanović reminded. She noted that their claims about working towards a "functional state" are nothing but empty rhetoric. “The political scene in BiH would be the same with or without Forto and his tiny party. They neither contribute to any processes now, nor would anyone notice if they disappeared from the political scene tomorrow,” Cvijanović emphasized.
