MITROVIĆ: PROSPECTS FOR BUSINESS COOPERATION TO BE DISCUSSED IN COMING PERIOD

GRADIŠKA, JULY 22 /SRNA/ - The Republika Srpska Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship, Vojin Mitrović, said that the visit by a delegation from Tatarstan to the business zone in Gradiška was an opportunity to present the economic potential of the city and Republika Srpska, emphasizing that possibilities for business cooperation will be explored.

"This is the beginning of talks with our friends from Tatarstan, and in the coming period we will explore the possibilities for business cooperation," said Mitrović, who today visited the business zone in Gradiška together with the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Savo Minić, Gradiška Mayor Zoran Adžić, and the delegation from Tatarstan. Mitrović emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences in the area of incentives granted for economic development. He noted that representatives of Latonedil, a company that manufactures construction panels and is a recipient of incentives from the Ministry, expressed their satisfaction with the support received. "These are not large funds, but this year they cover 40 percent of recognized investments in the procurement of new equipment and tools," Mitrović told reporters in Gradiška after visiting the business zone. He noted that every market demands quality products, and that the Ministry supports this by co-financing new technologies to help companies become as competitive as possible. Mitrović said that the Ministry will continue cooperation with business entities in Republika Srpska and will make efforts to improve the business environment in Srpska through the adoption of legal solutions. As part of their visit to the business zone in Gradiška, the Tatarstan delegation today visited the company Latonedil, which manufactures construction panels, the upholstery workshop Matić, and the agricultural production company Zelengaj in Laminci. The delegation was led by Oleg Korobchenko, the Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan. The delegation's visit to Republika Srpska began with a meeting in Banja Luka between the Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Oleg Korobchenko, and Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik.
