MINIĆ: INSTITUTIONS WILL STAND BY THEIR FARMERS IN HERZEGOVINA
BANJA LUKA, JULY 21 /SRNA/ - The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Savo Minić, stated that following the severe storm in Herzegovina, the institutions of Republika Srpska will stand by their farmers and provide all necessary support.
Minić stated that the severe storm accompanied by hail, which hit Herzegovina today, has left consequences in certain areas. He added that the competent services reacted immediately, but that the storm system was exceptionally strong and moved at high speed. "Therefore, it is necessary to determine the true extent of the damage and take appropriate measures after a field tour and an on-site assessment," Minić wrote on the social network "X" /formerly Twitter/. He announced that the relevant minister /Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Republika Srpska, Anđelka Kuzmić/ will visit the affected areas of Herzegovina tomorrow to speak with agricultural producers and the competent services. "The institutions of Republika Srpska will stand by their farmers and provide all necessary support," Minić pointed out. A severe storm hit the areas of Nevesinje and Berkovići today.
