NEW VOTING METHOD - RESULT OF MANIPULATIONS INVOLVING SCHMIDT AS WELL

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 5 /SRNA/ - President of the National Assembly Nenad Stevandić stated that the new voting method for the upcoming general elections is the result of someone's manipulations, in which Christian Schmidt was also involved.

Stevandić assessed that all of this has complicated the electoral process and that a lot of work will have to be done on voter education. "If you want me to be completely honest and open, it is obvious that this equipment was procured earlier and that the appearance of the ballot paper was adapted to the equipment, because that large ballot paper cannot fit into the scanner," Stevandić pointed out. Stevandić told reporters in Banja Luka that in this way, the electoral will of the people has been adapted to possible corruption and taking a cut from something that was procured before the elections were even announced. "Instead of the technology and these control principles adapting to the voters, here the voters are adapting to someone's manipulations in which Schmidt was involved. We usually find out about these things ten, 15 years later. We all have to adapt to whoever took our money on those scanners, to which the ballot paper must be adapted, instead of them adapting to the voting process and the interests of the voters. It is a disgrace! Let the CEC [Central Election Commission] prove me wrong," Stevandić stated.
