BEHAVIOR OF BOSNIAK CADET - HUGE SLAP FOR POLITICAL SARAJEVO
BELGRADE, OCTOBER 2 /SRNA/ - Director of the Eurasian Security Forum, retired Major General Mitar Kovač, told SRNA that the behavior of the Bosniak cadet who refused to shake hands with Austrian Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner for religious reasons is a scandal and a big slap in the face for Bosniak political Sarajevo.
"The armed forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina are missing only the part, introducing extreme Islam legally into their ranks. That would be an additional motive for breaking up that armed structure into national contingents," said Kovač. In case that the Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers Zukan Helez nevertheless signs a contract with this cadet on admission to the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he would be a second lieutenant, Kovač believes that Republika Srpska should oppose this with all possible means. "He should even seek intervention from other structures responsible for security or participating in the creation of security from the ranks of the EU, NATO and leading countries so that something like this does not happen," Kovač pointed out. He added that the cadet, apart from the medical one, should also pass all other examinations in order to be sent abroad as a reliable staff. "Unfortunately, that failure that happened greatly degrades the character and nature of the Bosniak factor in BiH, but also in Europe in general, especially since the politicians of the so-called political Sarajevo want to present BiH to Europe and the world as secular, a country where the rights of other peoples and nationals, minorities, religious and ethnic groups are respected," said Kovač. He assessed that this kind of gesture proves that it is not taken into account and that extreme Islamic fundamentalism is secretly hidden behind the so-called "citizen's option", which is evident and noticeable among all those who live in the area of those isolated ethnic Islamic communities and that is well noticed by other nations and religious communities. "Those who are in important positions at the level of BiH, who represent BiH, have a problem with that. They say one thing and think another, they say one thing in front of their people and do another, flattering Europe, wanting to accuse in that way others who are against the so-called civil Bosnia and Herzegovina," Kovač said. Unfortunately, he pointed out, this problem indicates the nature and character of the selection of personnel who are trained for the security forces, especially for the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Specifically, says Kovač, that young man was chosen from circles where he was already in some way indoctrinated and tied to extreme Islam before being sent to school, not to respect basic civil norms in relation to other people, members of other nations, religions. "It's a big slap in the face for the Bosniak structures of political Sarajevo, who allowed such people to go through the selection process and become representatives of the BiH Armed Forces," said Kovač, adding that this should be insisted on through the media in Republika Srpska, as well as some media in the Federation of BiH /FBiH/, especially those that cover areas populated by the Croatian people. He pointed out that it was unacceptable that that cadet did not want to hold out his hand to a woman who is a member of another nation and a Christian, which showed that he was not in favor of normal civil behavior, let alone working in the security structures, in the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. "It is necessary to carefully follow through one such example how the politicians from among the Bosniak people will behave and what they will look for in terms of their situation upon their return to Bosnia and Herzegovina," Kovač stressed. According to the media, the officer refused to shake hands with Tanner because she is a woman, justifying it with his religious beliefs, and as a result, the soldier was immediately excluded from the rest of the ceremony, and was not even presented with the traditional academy ring, which was confirmed by the Austrian Ministry of Defense.
