KRIŠTO DID NOT HAVE CONSENT TO SIGN DECLARATION IN DUBROVNIK
SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 10 /SRNA/ - The Council of Ministers did not review or approve the signing of the declaration in Dubrovnik by Chairperson Borjana Krišto, nor does it have the consent of the BiH Presidency, Deputy Council of Ministers Chairperson, Staša Košarac, told SRNA.
"We will be forced to file certain charges against Borjana Krišto, because her coming out with a one-sided approach on matters which there is no consensus on in BiH is inadmissible, hypocritical and incorrect," Košarac said. Košarac pointed out that Krišto might have been able to speak on the Ukrainian conflict in her own name in Dubrovnik, but it is inadmissible for her to speak about "Russian aggression" on behalf of BiH. According to him, this is not the position of Republika Srpska or its representatives at the joint level. "Therefore, this is not the official position of BiH. Borjana Krišto does not speak, nor can she speak on behalf of us from Republika Srpska," Košarac said. He explained that Krišto is the chairperson who cannot sign anything without the consent of the Council of Ministers, especially not without the consent of the BiH Presidency, whose constitutional competence is foreign policy management. Košarac assessed that Krišto once again decided on a one-sided approach, arbitrariness and incorrect political behaviour, playing the role of the prime minister of the non-existent BiH government. "It is not. BiH does not have a government, but the Council of Ministers of BiH, which is made up of ministers from Srpska and the Federation of BiH and is an auxiliary body of the BiH Presidency. Košarac noted that Srpska's position on the events in Ukraine is known and that the statement about "Russian aggression" is unacceptable. The signatories of the Declaration of the third Ukraine - Southeast Europe Summit, held in Dubrovnik, emphasized their support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and confirmed their unwavering commitment to providing continuous multilateral support to that country. The signatories condemned, as stated, the unjustified and illegal Russian aggression against Ukraine, as a flagrant violation of international law, the UN Charter and a major threat to the peace and security of Europe and the world.
