DODIK: SERBS WILL NOT ACCEPT BOSNIAK UNITARIZATION OF BiH AND "CIVIC" CONCEPT
BANJA LUKA, MARCH 19 /SRNA/ - SNSD president Milorad Dodik stated that BiH is a country which, under the Dayton Agreement, consists of two entities and three constituent peoples, and emphasized that Serbs will never accept unitarization and the Bosniak "civic" concept.
Dodik said that Bosniak claims over BiH are unacceptable, as well as narratives suggesting that Republika Srpska supposedly advocates war as a solution to problems. "It is precisely the Bosniak side that persistently refuses the offered dialogue in BiH aimed at constructively resolving problems," Dodik said at a press conference in Banja Luka. He reiterated that Serbs in BiH are a constituent and peace-loving people, and that there are no separatist intentions, as Bosniak actors continuously claim. "We are patriots, and we want to preserve our national rights! On the other hand, Bosniak actors are trying to conceal their unitarism, while at the same time undermining the Constitution of BiH, leading to it becoming a failed country, a fragmented and divided society that cannot be put back together," Dodik stated. He added that Serbs will never accept Bosniak and foreign intentions aimed at taking away Republika Srpska's entity property. "There is no state property," he emphasized. Dodik pointed out that during the last war, the Bosniak side destroyed 172 churches and significantly damaged 125 church buildings. "Sixty-five parish and other religious buildings of the Serbian Orthodox Church were also destroyed. It is absolutely not true that any of us hate Bosniaks, but we do not want to accept the lies of their political representatives who claim that Bosnia belongs to them, without mentioning the Serbs," Dodik said. Dodik emphasized that Republika Srpska has returned property to the Islamic Community in BiH, which, unfortunately, is not the case in the Federation of BiH when it comes to the property of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
